FEATURED ARTIST
Mark Gawne
“I was struck by the starkness and enormity of this landscape and the colour that seemed to saturate everything and I immediately thought of painting big, colourful canvases.”
– Mark Gawne
Possessing a strong tactile sense, Mark believes texture is an important part of his work and encourages people to touch his paintings.
FEATURED ARTIST

Julie Poulsen’s curiosity for colour and composition were informed by multiple locations in her formative years. From Papua New Guinea to the Gold Coast, from traditional Toowoomba and the United Kingdom to frontier Cooktown, Julie’s travels nurtured a tendency towards discovery and experimentation.
