Sharlie Wise was the winner of the People’s Choice prize in the 2024 Revival Emerging Artist Prize.
Sharlie is a mixed-media artist, based in Brisbane, interested in exploring the power of women and place through paintings inspired by mundanity, motherhood, introversion, and a healthy fear of small
talk. She often includes vintage artefacts to reference the inner divide we have between a longing for home and the past versus a longing for adventure and the new.
