Journey to the Blue Gate is a collection of works most of which are being shown for the first time. These have been curated around the idea of a peregrination – a holy journey. This journey involves facing challenges and facing ourselves. This is ultimately an inner journey. Themes of time, truth and new perceptions repeat in these works accompanied by a playful humour that invites the viewer to embrace the absurd and contemplate the wondrous.
