Having been on a Residency in Santa Fe recently, Nicole has evolved her ‘mighty women’ into wanderers in the landscape – exploring, protecting and remaining strong . This is a new collection and direction, that sees her women ‘queening’ their surrounds, whilst remaining sensitive and responsive to them.

Her work is strongly influenced by the experience of Georgia O’Keefe in Santa Fe – and she is always seeking to forge works in which women are fearless, capable and seen.

For this show, the artist has explored new themes and pushed herself out of her comfort zone creating high impact, large scale works. For fans of Nicole McPherson’s work, this show is a must see!
