Lost Continents began as an exploration of the landscape of aging – things falling apart, things falling away, the little unravellings that arrive with time. Layers of colour and texture, fragments of childhood, hints of places visited or imagined, narratives half remembered, a war happening in the background. But… as I worked on these pieces I became just as interested in what remains when things fall apart. What remains are essential truths. What remains are, and can be beautiful.
