ALISON MOONEY

Mooney is an Australian artist who began sharing her experimental and intuitive practice publicly, in the early 2000s.

She developed a distinctive visual language over 15 years through a series of projects marked by bold layering, cross-disciplinary collaborations, digital collage, and public art. This language continues to evolve through projects, commissioned murals and her studio pieces.

Her work is held in prominent private and public collections including Facebook HQ in San Francisco and the Sunshine Coast Art Collection.

Notable mural clients include the City of Hamilton (NZ), City of Port Phillip (VIC), Sunshine Coast Council, Vandal Sydney, University of the Sunshine Coast, Stockland, Coast2Bay, and Pacific Fair Broadbeach (QLD).

Self-driven projects are important for Mooney in demonstrating innovative perspectives free of the usual commercial concerns.
