Description
In 2010 Kylie completed a Bachelor of Visual Art at Southern Cross University, majoring in Painting and currently practices art out of her studio in Currumbin, Queensland.
Kylie’s work is a continual process of creation, review, and re-evaluation. Working with both acrylic paint and oils, she creates mostly abstract landscape and figurative work, that usually evolves as she works, seeking to finish up with something she finds both aesthetically and energetically pleasing. Kylie’s work often reflect on topics of contemplation and the beauty in imperfection.
Kylie’s recent artistic achievements include winning Third Place in the 2023 Doyles Landscape Award, and she has been accepted into the 2025 Chateau Orquevaux Art Residency in France. Her work so far has featured in group exhibitions in Queensland and Victoria, and is in collections in Australia, NZ, USA, Canada, Norway and the UK.
