This is a larger than life sculpture created from a single tree. The grain is as magnificent and the sculpture itself. The black plinth in included with the piece.


John Shaw spent much of his working life in Brunei where he honed his love of woodworking and sculpture. Using driftwood and logs found on the beach, the artist creates beautiful feminine forms, sometimes incorporating metal elements. Now that he lives on the Sunshine Coast, John uses found local timber from his property and other parts of his region.
