Origin Stories: Brisbane
This is our boldest venture yet as a young gallery, but as they say, fortune favours the bold!
Stage 1: We’re asking for submissions from Brisbane writers. We’d like to hear your origin story, a story from your formative years, or an event that has somehow shaped who you are. It could also be a story about someone you know. We want to get a feeling of the different people who make up our fine city, where they came from, what makes them tic. Each short story should be no longer than 1000 words.
Stage 2: Artists callout TBA
New Beginnings: an Open Group Show
We’re opening up the books to all artists in our region to be part of our celebration of the new year. Participating artists will be announced the week before the show opens.
The new year (Chinese Year of the Rat) is the beginning of a new cycle, a year of new beginnings, renewal and prosperity! A positive focus for our first showing of the year!

Revival Art & Design Gallery invites inquiries from artists and groups regarding exhibitions in 2019.
We are a boutique gallery set in a beautiful 96 year old house/shop. Nestled at the border of the desirable suburbs of Grange, Windsor, Gordon Park and Lutwyche, Revival A&D is just 7 minutes drive from the CBD and has ample, free, street parking.
The space consists of two rooms and a spacious L shaped verandah. The space is light and airy, a beautiful setting in which to display your work!
We are interested in hearing proposals from artists for exhibitions next year. We will select a small number to be held at Revival Art & Design. Those not selected have the option of running their own show in the Hang About Gallery Hire Space
